I'm Madison Gabriel, I am a sophomore majoring in psychology with a minor in business here at the University of Rhode Island. For this semester, my ENG 243 blog will be for critiquing, analyzing and the illustration of several themes exposed in each short story. The "gaze" of each short story also connects to the idea of portraying beauty and appearance. One can define beauty as the characteristic of a person or idea that provides a perceptual experience of pleasure or satisfaction. Let's see what each story can bring to the table!
